A 4×4 tour of nature with a chance to bathe in a natural thermal pool

The Hot River & Temple 4×4 Tour kicks off with a brief introduction to the Segesta countryside before setting off to cross farmland, vineyards and orchards where you can stop to taste seasonal fruit such as grapes, mulberries, pomegranates, melons, figs etc.

During the tour, various breaks with explanations on the territory and history of the place and tastings where applicable, are taken. This is a chance to become immersed in the landscape and woods which are home to Kestrels and Peregrine Falcons. A relaxing stop at ‘polle del crimiso’ to bathe in a natural pool (sulphurous water), and then return through the countryside and woods to visit the Temple of Segesta.
