Experience an ancient flour mill

At an ancient mill, an expert will demonstrate the ancient art of milling and all the techniques for the production of wheat and its products. You will witness the production of handmade flours from high quality organic cereals and the secrets to get the best dough for pizza and pasta will be revealed.

Visit an historic Sicilian Torronificio (nougat producer)

Pay a visit of to one of the oldest nougat producers in Sicily, dating back to 1870. Discover the secrets of Caltanissetta nougat, prepared with honey, almonds, sugar and pistachios. Try the sweet taste of the local nougat.

Vineyard experience

Visit an ancient vineyard surrounded by a unique panorama, that specialises in the grapes that make the Doc Sicilian wines so delicious.
Surrounded by the colours and scents of the vineyard, you will learn about the cultivation and production of the local wine. You can delight your palate with wines paired with tastes of typical local products.

Olive grove experience

Learn the difference between an olive oil and an extra virgin olive oil. Know how to recognise different types of oils and their labels. Visit an ancient organic olive grove, then the oil mill where nature meets technology, where the ‘green gold’ of Sicily is produced. Taste the final product: extra virgin olive oil on a fragrant slice of Sicilian durum wheat bread.
